What is an anatomy check?

An anatomy check involves making sure your body is suited for the piercing you would like to get, without a significant risk of rejection. We highly recommend booking a consult for an anatomy check if you’re thinking about getting a navel or industrial especially.

Is this a keloid?

Only a doctor can diagnose a true keloid. However, we recommend that you stop in to discuss whether or not we recommend seeing a doctor about the bump or irritation on your piercing.

Can I take out my jewelry for sports, swimming, or to swap jewelry?

We do not recommend removing or replacing jewelry until the piercing is completely healed, which can take up to a year. We recommend consulting with us directly for your specific situations and needs.

Can I wear a ring in this piercing?

Depending on your anatomy, new piercings can be switched to a ring when fully healed (about 1 year). Most of the time new piercings are done with a straight or curved bar to minimize irritation from movement and promote healing.

Do you have to get pierced to buy jewelry?

No, you do not need to get pierced to purchase new jewelry, but you do need to make an appointment to purchase jewelry to ensure we can offer individual support - view the services page for more information. If you are looking for something specific we suggest reaching out to custom order something.

What side should I get my nostril (or any other piercing) pierced on?

There is no right or wrong side to get a piercing done whether it is a facial, nostril, or ear piercing. The decision is entirely personal preference, although we recommend thinking about what side you take selfies from, if you want the jewelry to show in selfies, and what side you sleep on.

How old do you have to be to get pierced?

The youngest age we will pierce an individual at is 5 years old. For kids age 5-10 we require an initial consult and pierce at a later date (minimum next day). We require the individual to be able to clearly and enthusiastically consent to the process.

Why is your jewelry so expensive?

All of our jewelry is completely body safe and composed of titanium or gold. They are the highest quality materials available to make sure you have the least complications. Our service charge incudes all the materials to make sure you have a sterile piercing experience, our expertise, and our continued education.

Do you preform oral piercings currently?

Yes, we do. For individuals under 18 we recommend scheduling an initial consult for any oral piercings to discuss risks before piercing on a later date.

Does it hurt?

Yes. There is a needle going through your tissue. “But pain is temporary and swag is forever” - Ali

And, pain is subjective for each person, so what may hurt quite a bit for someone may not hurt much for you.
